Miami‑Dade Library Patrons Read Over 70,000 Hours Competing for Grand Prizes
(Miami, FL – August 8, 2014) Children, teens and adults read at an electrifying speed during the Library’s Summer Reading Program. For every two hours spent reading or listening to audiobooks, participants were eligible to enter a drawing to win fabulous grand prizes. From the 35,961 entry tickets received, 10 winners were selected via a random drawing held at the Main Library on Thursday, July 31.
