Miami-Dade Public Library System presents Bricks for Kidz

– LEGO challenges designed to educate children as they play –

Lego Blocks

(Miami, FL – June 15, 2015) The Miami‑Dade Public Library System is proud to present Bricks for Kidz. Kids between 8 and 12‑year‑olds will use LEGOS to build challenging objects. The program is facilitated by an educator who explains the mechanics and engineering of each challenge. These LEGO challenges are designed to educate kids as they play.

In these fun, educational classes, students will experience hands‑on engineering fundamentals as they build motorized models using LEGO Bricks. Bricks for Kidz provides a curriculum which introduces children to engineering, architecture and scientific principles. After‑school programs allow their imagination and creativity to soar during a free‑play building session at the end of each class.
