Get your United States Passport at the Miami‑Dade Public Library!
– South Dade Regional Library will now be a U.S. Passport Application Acceptance Facility –
(Miami, FL – September 11, 2015) The Miami‑Dade Public Library System South Dade Regional Library will be a U.S. Passport Application Acceptance Facility starting on September 28. The South Dade Regional Library will be accepting passport applications from Miami‑Dade County residents and non‑residents of the community at 10750 SW 211 Street, Miami, Florida. The South Dade Regional Library is the only branch participating in the pilot program.
The Miami‑Dade Public Library System became an official Passport Application Acceptance Facility on behalf of the U.S. Department of State to enhance services to the community.
Passport Service Hours of Operation will be:
| Monday | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. |
| Wednesday | 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. |
| Thursday | 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. |
| Friday | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. |
| Saturday | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. |
Passport services will be offered by appointment only. The Miami‑Dade Public Library System does not offer photo services at this time. Passport forms, passport fees, information on how to apply and more can be found on the Department of State’s official website for passport and travel information, www.travel.state.gov.
