Project L.E.A.D. (Literacy for Every Adult in Dade) is an adult literacy program designed to assist English‑speaking adults with low literacy skills. The program provides free, one‑on‑one, confidential tutoring to help adults improve their reading and writing skills. Adult learners are matched with volunteer tutors who help them achieve their reading goals. Teams meet twice per week at a library branch for one‑hour sessions at a time.
